The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is the largest county law enforcement agency in the State of Arizona, 4th largest in the United States and operates in an area nearly the size of Vermont. MCSO is the primary or supporting law enforcement agency for a population of more than four million residents. MCSO’s jail facilities process and house all felony and most misdemeanor inmates for the County, managing over 100,000 intakes annually.
